Evonik’s cQrex® portfolio is specifically designed to enhance cell culture media and optimize bioprocessing with ingredients that meet stringent regulatory requirements for biopharmaceutical manufacturing. Unlike free L-glutamine, L-tyrosine and L-cysteine, cQrex® peptides are resistant to degradation and highly soluble in media at neutral pH. The antioxidant cQrex® AKG limits oxidative damages in the cell.
Formulating or supplementing media with cQrex® peptides allows for process intensification and simplification with concentrated media and single-feed systems. They enable productivity increase and production cost savings, ensuring highly efficient manufacturing of biopharmaceuticals.
