Poloxamers are synthetic block copolymer of ethylene oxide and propylene oxide. They are available as Kolliphor P grades which are white, coarse grained powders with a waxy consistency containing an appropriate quantity of the antioxidant BHT; while the Kollisolv P grade is a milky white paste or liquid containing DL-alpha tocopherol as an antioxidant.
