Kollitab DC 87 L is a lactose-based spray dried co-processed excipient designed for direct compression. It comprises of 87% lactose monohydrate as a filler, 9% crospovidone as a disintegrant, 3% polyethylene glycol-polyvinyl alcohol graft copolymer as a binder and 1% sodium stearyl fumarate as a lubricant. It is an all-in-one combination ideal for formulating an immediate release tablet. It exhibits excellent tabletability, enabling easy and efficient tablet compression. Moreover, tablets formulated with Kollitab present fast disintegration times, allowing for rapid drug release and absorption.
